I stand at the threshold where science, spirituality, and food meet. My path weaves together Eastern philosophy — Zen Buddhism, non-duality, reverence — with the discipline and clarity of science, shaped through years in research, food science, biotechnology and building startups. I’ve also carried that inquiry into the kitchen, cooking at a 3-Michelin-star level, where precision and presence are one.
Here, there, everywhere.
I’m a wanderer by nature — drawn to the edges where challenge, truth, freedom, and landscape meet. I walk those edges with both curiosity and reverence, guided by a longing for what’s real.
Why do we look for meaning?
At the core of my being is a deep sensitivity to human suffering. My grandfather’s survival of Auschwitz — and the echoes of others who endured similar darkness — planted in me a life-long question: how do we find meaning, dignity, and light in the midst of pain?
